Mathew 16, Praying the Word of God

The word of God in Mathew 16 teaching us about some dangers in our earthly life.  

This passage tells us about to be alert of the signs of the times, to be guard on against teachings wich mistake us, to know  who he truly is, to not be blind of our fairs and fellings instead to be trustfull to the God's commandments and to remember we will meet Jesus onde da to be reward of our doings here.

Jesus is with his disciples at that moment, when the pharisees and sadducees tested him by asking a sign from heaven. Jesus answered them that they are able to recognize the nature signs about the weather but are not able to recognize the signs of the times. It was an oppostion since the nature's signns are from God who is the Lord of earth and heaven.

So, Jesus immediatly starts to teach his disciples to be on guard againt the yeast of the pharisees and saducees, how dangerous is it, because when someone is using yeast it is to enlarge, duplicate the quantity, it means that this person is adding more to the simple truth to mistake you about the real facts.

As the serpent did with Eve, the truth is not enough to convince you to give up your beliefs, it is necessary to put yeast to mistake you and make you see a distorted view of what you were sure of. We need to be alert of this, because the devil will not give up to mistake us about the truth of salvation and the cross sicrifice of Jesus.

To effort their faith and trustfullness, Jesus ask them what the people are talking about who he is, his disciples replied that the people was mistakenJesus  with one of the prophets, and Jesus made them say aloud


Lord,

We prayse you because in every nature and humanity we can see the signs of you, and even they are regular in our daily life help us see you and do not ignore the revelation of the sign of the times.

Help us to guard our mind against the teachinng of the doctors and scholars of the Word and law. It is easy and conmfortable to trust them wether the voice of the Holly Gost.

Jesus, we recognize you as the son of God and we know as your siblings that our kingdom is in heaven, we are not of this world, but, each day help us to remember and live our lifes in this understanding.

We are aware about your suffering on the cross and the truth of the ressurrection, and we believe in your coming in.

We ask you, Lord, to deliver us from the fellings to justify our fears with love or another false truth against your plans for our spiritual life. Lead us to see when the evil is blind us to follow you instead our own wishes and lose our soul.

One day we will meet you to be reward about we have done in this earth, remember us of this, Lord.

We ask you to help us to be on guard of our faith until the end.
